3MBS operates out of community-funded studios with 230 dedicated volunteers who contribute over 240,000 hours a year, a team of specialist volunteers record over 300 local concerts for broadcast and 100’s of Melbourne’s musicians are supported by 3MBS.

Independent radio is a powerful community resource attracting increasing listeners. 3MBS receives NO government funding for operations and relies on listener support to stay on air.
