3MBS Privacy Policy
3MBS is committed to maintaining the trust
and confidence of its stakeholders and providing exceptional
levels of customer service. As a small, community-sector
organisation, we are not required to comply with the provisions
of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), but we nevertheless wish
to assure customers of our commitment to protecting their
privacy. For this reason we describe below some of our procedures
for handling personal information.
3MBS collects personal information (such as
names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, credit
card details and purchasing history) for the purposes of:
- enabling people to subscribe to the station and to order
and purchase tickets to events and merchandise offered
by 3MBS and otherwise make use of the products and services
we offer;
- verifying subscriber identity and details;
- fulfilling customers’ orders and sending the purchases
to customers;
- operating, managing and improving the services we provide
(including charging and payment);
- periodically sending customers information on forthcoming
events, products we supply, industry information, competitions
and promotions.
If customers do not provide us with certain
personal information, we may not be able to provide them
with the services they require.
Customers’ personal information is stored in a secure database.
In the course of providing services to our customers, 3MBS
may disclose customers’ personal information to contractors
who perform services on our behalf. We do not disclose personal
information to contractors other than for the purposes described
above.

and help us to ensure that the information we hold is accurate,
complete and up-to-date.
