Free Lunchtime Organ Recital: Tom Healey

This is part of the Annual Windfire Music Festival's free organ recitals on Geelong's historic pipe organs. Henry Bevington of London designed the original organ at Christ Church but proved too small for the size of the church, which had been enlarged by 1859. In 1862 a new organ of 842 pipes, designed by John Courcelle of London, was installed by George Fincham, a former colleague of Courcelle. The organ has been extended and now has 1639 pipes.
