Kawai Live: John Granger Fisher

 


In our next Kawai Live presented in collaboration with Kawai Australia, we welcome Brisbane-born pianist, John Granger Fisher to the station to perform live-to-air during Music for Keyboard with host Mark Kerr.

 

John Granger Fisher has established himself as one of Australia’s foremost concert pianists. A winner of international, Australian, British and American piano competitions and musical awards, John has performed at prestigious venues around the world, including Wigmore Hall, London and Carnegie Hall, New York. His performances have received high acclaim from international music critics. This year, John performs recitals in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne and Hobart. 

John will perform a program of works by Chopin, Liszt and Brahms, concluding with Balakirev's notoriously difficult, Islamey.
