A Chest of Viols

A rare opportunity to hear four beautifully matched viols sounding together as they were made to do: warm, expressive and perfectly balanced, revealing the crystalline counterpoint and extraordinary richness of English consort music.
Featuring music by Purcell, Jenkins, Gibbons, Locke, Byrd and other composers from the 16th and 17th centuries.
