An Invitation to Voyage: Songs of water, wanderers, moonlight and longing
Soprano Shimona Rose and pianist Peter Toohey perform a superb programme of art song and ballad by composers including Franz Schubert, Benjamin Britten, Lili Boulanger and Calvin Bowman. Guests are welcome to enjoy the collection at Nightingale Gallery, and Invitation to Voyage will be performed alongside the contrasting exhibition, La vie intérieure. Approximate duration 70 min (including interval), with refreshments available at bar prices.
