The Grainger Wind Symphony opens its 2026 season with a vibrant celebration of Chinese culture expressed through the rich colours of the Western wind symphony. Under the leadership of Music Director Roland Yeung, the concert includes two guest solo musicians of Chinese heritage Alyssa Wong (violin) and Sandy Yao (dizi) performing works by Tan Dun, Chen Yi, He & Cheng, Chen Yi, Simon Yuen-hing Yau and Gioccomo Puccini including the music from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
