Renowned pianist Sonya Lifschitz and vocalist and performance artist Christine Johnston come together for a bold reinterpretation of George Crumb’s Makrokosmos, Book 1 as part of the 2026 Sound Gallery Series. Blending recital, cabaret and performance art, this critically acclaimed work places Crumb’s zodiac-inspired pieces within an imaginative Antipodean sound.
