Gabriel Liu, 14, is a cellist at Camberwell Grammar, studying with David Berlin and Rachel Atkinson. In 2025, he attended Cello-Akademie Rutesheim, where he was selected to perform in the solo concert. He was also awarded 2nd prize in the Strike a Chord chamber music competition. In 2026, he served as Associate Principal Cellist of AYO’s Amadio Chamber Orchestra and a member of its flagship orchestra. This performance will include J.S. Bach’s Cello Suite No. 4 and Elena Kats-Chernin’s Wild Rice.
