The evening unfolds with Saint-Saëns’ radiant "Fantaisie" for violin and harp, alongside atmospheric works by Sebastian Currier, Villa-Lobos, Salzedo, Westlake, and Crosthwaite. At its heart is At every instant, one must fly, a new work by acclaimed Australian composer Melody Eötvös, written especially for the duo and inspired by Pablo Neruda’s "Sonnet 97"
