After being the Organist and Master of the Choristers at Christ Church Cathedral in Newcastle for 15 years, Peter Guy pursued his post-graduate studies at the Kodaly Institute of the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Hungary, as the first student to be awarded Sarolta Scholarship of the International Kodaly Society in two consecutive years. He was a national keyboard finalist in the 2003 Symphony Australia Young Performer’s Award.
