The 3MBS Victorian Young Performer Award (YPA), one of Victoria’s most respected classical music competitions, returns this October.
Each year, four outstanding finalists – representing piano, strings, woodwind/brass, and voice – are selected to perform in a live adjudicated recital before a panel of esteemed performers, composers, teachers, and conductors from across Australia. Competitions like the YPA are more than just performance opportunities. They encourage young artists to refine their craft, benchmark their progress, and adhere to the rigorous standards of international classical music.
