The Talent is a weekly program that assists young and emerging artists by providing live-to-air performance experience and feedback from respected industry mentors.
Three musicians are chosen each season to compete in a grand final with prizes including recording and performance opportunities and an Audience Choice Award.
The Talent is open to soloists (instrumental and vocal) and chamber ensembles aged between 12 and 25 years.
In 2025, the program will also broadcast two composer-feature specials, which emerging composers are encouraged to apply for.
