Kawai Australia and 3MBS present the next instalment of the Kawai Live series for 2025 featuring Liam Wooding

New Zealand pianist Liam Wooding is renowned for his “chameleon-like ability with keyboard colour” (Radio New Zealand). After completing his piano studies at the Australian National Academy of Music and furthering his education in the United States as a Fulbright Scholar, Liam now performs solo recitals and chamber music across Australasia and beyond. Liam has garnered awards and commendations for his work from Creative New Zealand, the University of Waikato, the Australian National Academy of Music, and the Arts Foundation of New Zealand.

Liam has collaborated with distinguished artists such as percussionist Steven Schick, soprano Stephanie Acraman, violinist Akiko Miazawa, and his own chamber ensemble, Morton Trio. Albums featuring Acraman (The Complete Cabaret Songs of William Bolcom) and Morton Trio have garnered attention from leading outlets, including Limelight Magazine, Seesaw Magazine, and MusicWeb International.
