“Fearless soprano” Merlyn Quaife AM is one of Australia’s most highly regarded sopranos, with more than four decades performing in opera, oratorio, chamber music and lieder in Australia and overseas. She's taught at the Faculty of Music at the University of Melbourne and the Sir Zelman Cowan School of Music at Monash University as well as in Europe and the US.
Merlyn's commitment to new music is renowned, with many works written expressly for her. She also has a strong commitment to diverse community programs and the well-being of others.
