Rose is Director of Museums and Collections at the University of Melbourne and was named 2023 Change-maker of the Year for her transformative leadership.
Rose has united diverse cultural venues, championed inclusivity and driven major initiatives like the Cultural Commons Strategy at the University. She's undertaken previous leadership roles as CEO, Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (Powerhouse Museum), Executive Director, Arts Development at the Australia Council for the Arts, and is currently a Board member of Back to Back Theatre and the Melbourne Art Foundation. She recently completed a decade on the Board of Chunky Move.
