Andrea Keller in conversation with Kit Millais
This Sunday 8 March Reflections celebrates International Women's Day. Kit Millais is joined by special guest Andrea Keller.
Pianist and composer, Dr Andrea Keller, grew up in Sydney, penned her first compositions at age 10 and received her AMusA on piano at 14.
She's committed to creating new music with an emphasis on improvisation and collaboration and has won many awards including three ARIA Awards for Best Jazz Album with Thirteen Sketches, Mikrokosmos andFootprints, plus numerous Australian Bell Jazz Awards and Music Victoria Awards.
Andrea runs the educational program Gender Defying Jazz and is currently Head of Jazz & Improvisation at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne.
