Barry Minster OAM in conversation with Stephen Carpenter

Barry Minster OAM is an Australian television technical producer and was heavily involved in many iconic TV productions associated with the Hector Crawford studios.   

Barry has a fascinating story to tell about his life as a soldier in the 110th Signals Squadron during the Vietnam War, then after discharge established a stellar career in the Australian television drama industry and broadcast television. He was founder of Victoria’s first non-linear editing facility. He held senior technical roles at major global events, including multiple Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup. He later went on to become a Justice of the Peace, held senior Masonic offices, and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2017 for community service.
