David Shelmerdine AO

David Shelmerdine AO has dedicated his life to business and not-for-profit ventures that encourage governments, agencies and philanthropy to adopt more effective and meaningful climate action. As co-founder of Climateworks Australia, he has always combined high-level strategic planning and engagement with practical hands-on activities, such as running the family farm.  

David is a keen supporter of many other groups, such as Australian Desert Expeditions, a not-for-profit organisation that organises scientific & ecological expeditions into remote regions of Central Australia in partnership with Indigenous Australians, universities, researchers and agencies.
