Reflections with Don Asker

This Sunday, 20 September, on Reflections, John Utans is joined by acclaimed dancer, choreographer and director, Don Asker. 

John and Don have shared many hours together in dance studios. Now, for the first time in years, they meet again — this time in a radio studio. Not to dance, but to share a conversation about dance, art, life, and the music that weaves them all together. 

Don has performed and choreographed with numerous Australian and international ensembles. Back in Australia, Don founded Canberra's Human Veins Dance Theatre, lectured and mentored at the Victorian College of the Arts and completed a PhD at Melbourne University. For the past 30 years, Don has been based in Kiah, NSW, collaborating with artists, researchers and performers across a range of creative disciplines.
