Reflections with Kerry-Anne Hoad

Kerry-Anne Hoad shares insights into her life from her early life experiences which led her from sheep farming to a demanding international career in education.  She began her teaching career working with children with disabilities. Later, working with the Australian Council for Education Research she led international outreach activities, providing educational services to other countries. 

In 2012 she joined the British Council in London to become Global Head of Education and Innovation, providing leadership in global strategic innovation across all education sectors, in 101 countries. This involved meeting with Ministers of Education and working out ways the Council could meet their educational and funding needs.   

Returning from London, Kerry-Anne was able to pursue her other passion - classical music, to become a presenter for Wednesday Daybreak on 3MBS. Kerry-Anne retired recently from 3MBS after six happy years on air.
