Stephen Kovacevich in conversation with Kiera Stevens
Pianist Stephen Kovacevich, who sadly passed away recently, first performed publicly at the age of eleven. At eighteen, he moved to London to study with Dame Myra Hess, making his Wigmore Hall debut in 1961. He went on to enjoy an illustrious international career, performing solo recitals, chamber music and concertos, and his award-winning recordings have long been regarded as benchmarks.
In this conversation with Kiera Stevens on Reflections, Stephen reflects on his remarkable life and career. Listen back to this special interview.
