Zoe Peng is a 13-year-old Year 8 student at Methodist Ladies’ College and dedicated young musician studying under the guidance of her teacher, Yang Xiao. Zoe started playing the French horn at the age of 10 after she built her music foundation on the piano.
She is currently preparing for her LMusA diploma, demonstrating a high level of commitment and discipline in her musical studies. She was awarded 1st Prize at the Global Final of Melbourne International Instrumental Competition and has also won multiple 1st prize awards at the Boroondara Eisteddfod, Ringwood Eisteddfod and the Monash Youth Festival. Through her music, Zoe hopes to inspire more young girls to take up the French horn and pursue their musical ambitions.
