What a Finale! Congratulations to Lawrence Wang for taking out 1st place, winning this season of The Talent!
Congratulations to Leonardo Hawco for finishing in 2nd Place and Nathan Wayne for finishing in 3rd! The panel was truly impressed by all of your performances and had an incredibly hard time deciding the final order.
It is a testament to your many hours of practice that you made it to the Finale episode, reaching the top three out of our season of 20 phenomenal young performers is not easy.
Congratulations to Julia Rozenkova for taking out the Audience Prize, and to Stephy Cai for being awarded a Mentor’s Commendation Award by season mentor Kevin Tamanini.
Our prize winners have been awarded a selection of prizes from our generous donors Musica Viva, CutCommon Magazine, Melbourne Recital Centre, Cinema Nova, 3MBS, Melbourne Chamber Orchestra and Forest Collective!
That’s a wrap on The Talent for 2026!
Thank you to the whole team at The Talent for making the show possible for yet another fantastic season. Thank you to our host Kyla, season mentor Kevin, and all the guest mentors we’ve had throughout the season for being the voices of fun and mentorship on air. And thank you to our four tech geniuses—Tom, Kieren, Mark and Greg—for sound engineering and panelling the show. None of it would be possible without these amazing people who volunteer their time every single week.
And thank YOU—the listeners and followers—for coming on the journey!
Stay tuned over the summer for updates regarding auditions for Season 1 2027. Past performers on The Talent aged between 12 and 25 are welcome to audition for another season.
That’s all from us!
